S1 are studying states of matter and what better way to look at freezing than to make ice cream. Take one large freezer bag and put ice cubes in it with some rock salt. Put milk and strawberry flavour in a smaller freezer bag, seal it and place in large bag. Then shake for ten minutes and hey presto - ice cream. Some where a bit too enthusiastic in their shaking though and got some of the salty water into their ice cream! Most of us though got yummy strawberry!
