S1 have been looking at pH as part of their water studies. They are taking red cabbage home to make pH indicator and will be testing some household liquids to see if they are acids or alkalis. The different colours in the test tube were made by layering an acid on top of an alkali and the red cabbage juice changes colour - cool!!
